The Annual Aldworth Lodge Golf Day was held this year at Sandford Springs Golf Club in glorious sunshine. After a light lunch and ensuring we were "fully" hydrated, we set off to play the "Park" & "Woods" course. The afternoon produced some fantastic golf, with many birdies but the shot of the day went to Martin Hayes' approach shot of 165yards on the 10th which he holed for an eagle. The scores were high and our host Chris Jamieson used his local knowledge to generate 42 points to take the victory from retired Bursar John Jacobs.
