The Management Committee recommend to the Brethren the following proposal of the 2009 Awards

School Section – James Connell has been nominated by RBCS as he raised £4000 by a Swimathon for the Brains Trust, a charity that had supported a close friend.James has requested that his cheque should favour “The Jessica Taylor Charity Fund” and he intends to buy a book as his personal gift.

Senior Section –  Julian Walker. an Old Blue this year raised just over £5000 for Sue Ryder Hospice Nettlebed by running the London Marathon. He is also a trustee of The Duchess of Kent House Hospice in Reading and has for a number of years been actively involved helping the charity raise funds.
